LAST SUPPER.jpg

THE LAST SUPPER

the Dominican convent adjoining the church of Santa Maria delle Grazie houses one of the most important masterpieces in the world: the “Last Supper” by Leonardo da Vinci.  This fresco has been painted from the 1494 and the 1498, during the dukedom of Ludovico Il Moro, and to do that Leonardo substituted the usual method of the fresco with a new technique called “a secco” (on a dry wall) to paint the Last Supper on the wall of the convent’s refectory.

After the last restoration extensive measures have been inserted to protect the fresco. To keep the Last Supper painting at the room temperature, a maximum of 25 people can enter the refectory every 15 minutes.

With only 25 people allowed in at a time, tickets to see The Last Supper are always in high demand. But with our tour, you won't miss out on one of Italy's most visited works of art.

In the world of mannequin makers, Bonaveri is among a handful of companies whose brands are as recognizable as the fashion designers they work with.

Established in 1960, Bonaveri is one of the oldest and most successful mannequin companies in the world, counting almost all high end brands, such as Roberto Cavalli and Giorgio Armani, through to high street names like Max Mara, Zara and Loewe, as key clients.
