City Tour

An introductory tour of Hong Kong’s most popular attractions; including a ride on the Peak tram, a stroll around Victoria Peak to enjoy stunning views of the surrounding city skyline and the world-famous Victoria Harbour, a visit to Stanley Market and the famous fishing village of Aberdeen, Hong Kong's junk-dwelling floating community.

Itinerary: The tour will include transfers to and from the hotel, the Peak tram to the Victoria Peak (the highest point on Hong Kong Island), coach transfer to the south coast of Hong Kong to visit Stanley Market, coach transfer onto Aberdeen (with optional Sampan ride) and a visit to the workshop of a jewellery factory.

Duration: 6 hours

An optional Chinese lunch and / or Sampan ride can be included.

The Races and a Duck Dinner

First built in 1845 to provide horse racing for the British people in Hong Kong, Happy Valley Racecourse is now a Wednesday night staple for any visitor or local living in HK.

History: Before it was built, the racecourse area was a swampland, but also the only flat ground suitable for horse racing on Hong Kong Island. Through the years, the city has built around the Happy Valley race course, and now the night skyline of illuminated skyscrapers is a sight in itself.

Itinerary: The tour includes collection from the hotel, a trip on the Star Ferry, dinner at the famous American Peking restaurant, entrance to the Happy Valley races and a bus transfer back to the hotel.

Dinner will include the restaurants staple – roasted Peking duck - along with a mix of Western-friendly Chinese dishes (incl. spring rolls, salt and pepper squid, chilli beef, and local dessert).

At the races the group will be able to stand by the rails and take in all the action alongside local Hong Kong Chinese and expats alike, as the horses blitz by in a frenzy to the finish line.

GRANA

Grana is a Hong Kong based fashion e-retailer, focusing on offering luxury quality staple wardrobe essentials at a fair price point – through re-imagining the traditional fashion industry business model.

The tour will include a brand introduction at Grana’s Head Office in Wong Chuk Hang followed by a tour of Grana’s “Fitting Rooms” on Hollywood Road here the group will be able to see the unique business strategy in action.

BURBERRY

Burberry Group Inc is a British luxury fashion house, headquartered in London, England. Its main fashion house focuses on and distributes ready-to-wear outerwear, fashion accessories, fragrances, sunglasses, and cosmetics.

The tour includes a presentation on the Burberry brand and how they have positioned their retail business in Hong Kong to cater to local Asian market demands. The presentation will be followed by a tour of the Burberry flagship store

SWIRE PROPERTIES

Established in Hong Kong in 1972, Swire Properties is a leading developer, owner and operator of mixed-use, principally commercial properties in Hong Kong and Mainland China, Swire properties is known for their large-scale mixed-use projects that serve as focal points of the surrounding urban areas.

The tour, conducted by a Swire Portfolio Manager, starts with a walk through of the prestigious Pacific Place shopping mall and introduction to the brand / trade mix. The group will then be taken by foot to Star Street Precinct, an energetic area in the vicinity also run by Swire Properties, to demonstrate their long term vision and to illustrate indoor vs outdoor retailing.
